KITE OPTICS APC 42 — Innovative Image-Stabilised Binoculars

Introducing the KITE OPTICS APC 42

The APC 42 is an iconic model that revolutionised image-stabilised binoculars. It is the first binocular of its kind in the highly popular 42 mm configuration, offering compactness and low weight comparable to traditional roof-prism binoculars. Thanks to KITE APC technology, it can operate for up to a year on a set of AA batteries. Excellent handling and an improved design open up new possibilities for observation.

Intuitive Precision

The APC 42 has been carefully designed with comfort in mind, keeping your hands in a natural and comfortable position. The focus wheel is conveniently placed within easy reach of your fingers, allowing quick adjustments for optimal sharpness. Enjoy precise, effortless focusing during every observation.

KT 2.0 Processor and Software

Powered by second-generation KT 2.0 software, the APC 42 uses advanced algorithms to deliver a steadier image and smoother operation while panning and scanning. This takes the viewing experience to the next level, providing reliable precision during observation.

KDGS-1 Suspension System

The APC 42 features the innovative KDGS-1 suspension system and second-generation accelerometers. Together, they provide highly precise stabilisation of roof-prism movement, resulting in sharper and more stable images.

A Full Season on One Set of Batteries

The APC 42 operates with two active AA batteries and two spare batteries, providing at least 120 hours of continuous observation. Batteries therefore need to be replaced only once or a few times a year, allowing you to explore without unnecessary interruptions.

APC Energy-Saving Mode

When APC mode is enabled, the binoculars automatically enter sleep mode when not in use and reactivate instantly when needed. No buttons are required. This intuitive function ensures convenient, uninterrupted observation.

Built to Last

The APC 42 is designed to withstand demanding conditions. Its IPX7 waterproof rating means it can withstand immersion in water to a depth of up to 1 metre. Nitrogen filling prevents internal fogging, helping maintain reliable performance even in very humid environments.

Enhanced Protection

Additional silicone covers provide an extra layer of protection, while compatible objective lens protectors help keep the optics safe in demanding environments. This added durability helps keep the APC 42 in excellent condition wherever your adventures take you.

The APC 42 represents the pinnacle of image-stabilised binocular design, combining advanced technology, durability and user-focused innovation. It is a dependable companion for a wide range of observation needs.
