The innovative APC 42 redefines your viewing experience

Meet the KITE OPTICS APC 42. The APC 42 is an iconic model that revolutionised image-stabilised binoculars. It is the first binocular of its kind in the extremely popular 42 mm configuration, while its compact size and low weight are comparable to traditional roof-prism binoculars. Thanks to KITE APC mode, a set of AA batteries can power the binoculars for up to a year. With excellent handling and an improved design, this model opens up entirely new observation possibilities.

Intuitive precision

The APC 42 has been carefully designed with comfort in mind, ensuring that your hands are always in a natural and comfortable position. The focusing wheel is conveniently located at your fingertips, allowing quick adjustments for optimal clarity. Experience precision like never before.

KT 2.0 processor and software

Powered by second-generation KT 2.0 software, the APC 42 features advanced algorithms that deliver a steadier image and smoother operation when panning and scanning. Take your observation experience to the next level with exceptional precision.

KDGS-1 suspension system

The APC 42 features the innovative KDGS-1 suspension system and second-generation accelerometers, providing outstanding precision in stabilising roof-prism movement for sharper and more reliable images.

A full season without frequent battery changes

The APC 42 operates with two active AA batteries, with two additional batteries available as spares. This provides at least 120 hours of continuous observation. You will only need to replace the batteries once or a few times a year, allowing you to explore without worry wherever your adventures take you.

APC energy-saving mode

In APC mode, the binoculars automatically enter sleep mode when not in use and reactivate instantly when needed. No buttons are required. This intuitive feature ensures smooth and uninterrupted observation.

Built to last

The APC 42 is designed to withstand demanding conditions. Its IPX7 waterproof rating allows it to be immersed in water to a depth of up to 1 metre. Nitrogen filling prevents internal fogging, ensuring reliable performance even in very humid environments.

Extended protection

Optional silicone covers provide an additional layer of protection, while compatible objective lens protectors help keep the optics safe in demanding environments. These accessories help keep your APC 42 in excellent condition wherever your adventures take you.

The APC 42 represents the pinnacle of image-stabilised binocular design, combining advanced technology, durability and user-focused innovation. It is an ideal companion for all your observation needs.
