Product description

The Celestron CPC Series combines advanced telescope automation with high-quality optics and ergonomic design. The integrated GPS receiver automatically downloads date, time, and location data from satellites, eliminating the need for manual setup.

SkyAlign technology allows simple alignment using any three bright celestial objects, including the Moon or planets. Once aligned, the NexStar control system accurately models the night sky and provides precise GoTo functionality.

The telescope database contains more than 40,000 celestial objects, including Messier objects, Caldwell Catalog entries, NGC galaxies, nebulae, planets, variable stars, and double stars. User-definable filter limits simplify navigation according to local observing conditions.

The optical system features StarBright XLT coatings for enhanced light transmission and contrast. The matched optical components are manufactured and hand-figured by Celestron.

The CPC mount uses a computerized dual fork Alt-Azimuth design with quiet drive mechanics, large gears, and quick-release clutches for smooth operation. Auxiliary ports support accessories such as autoguiders and GPS modules.

The telescope also includes NexRemote control software and an RS-232 cable for advanced computer control.
