Product Description

The StarSense Explorer LT eliminates the need for traditional star charts and inaccurate planetarium apps. After placing your smartphone in the StarSense Dock and completing a quick alignment process, the app generates a list of currently visible celestial objects.

When a target is selected, arrows appear on the screen guiding you to move the telescope. Once the object is centered, the bullseye turns green.

The system uses a patented star-pattern recognition algorithm (LISA), similar to satellite navigation systems, to determine the telescope”s exact pointing direction with high accuracy.

The alt-azimuth mount with slow-motion altitude control allows smooth tracking of objects as they drift across the sky. The full-height adjustable tripod ensures stability during observations.

The 127mm fully coated glass optics provide sharp, bright views of celestial objects.

Even in light-polluted cities, the telescope can clearly show Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, the Orion Nebula, double stars, and other bright targets. In darker locations, many more objects become visible.
