At night, the Celestron PowerSeeker 60 is capable of viewing the planets, Moon, star clusters, and brighter deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy. During the day, the erect image star diagonal corrects the orientation of the image, transforming the telescope into an excellent spotting scope for viewing land-based targets, wildlife, and scenery.

Tracking objects is simple and accurate thanks to the manual Alt-Azimuth mount with a functional pan handle clutch. Move the clutch in an up/down or left/right fashion to easily follow targets as they drift across the night sky. To assist with targeting, the attached finderscope helps you quickly center objects in your eyepiece for effortless observation.
