Its rings make it one of the most beautiful objects in the solar system: Saturn is a giant in stature. If a car with a speed of 100 km / h could go around the visible rings, it would be on the road for a whole year!

All the beauty of the ring planet and the orange moon of Titan can be clearly seen in a simple telescope. The fact that planets, unlike stars, do not shine by themselves is not entirely correct: Saturn even shines a little by itself, it emits more energy than it receives from the Sun.

In 2004, after a year of travel into space, NASA's Cassini space probe approached the giant with its 30 moons - the first visit since 1981. ESA's European lander Huygens, which parachuted down on Titan, was also home to the second largest moon in the solar system. Its clouds are so dense that we still don't know if there might be oceans of methane or ethane on its icy surface.
