The LiteRoc tripod is a tripod newly developed by iOptron that is as light as possible, but as stable as necessary. It therefore fits very well with portable mounts for mobile observers and astrophotographers. Compared to the previous version, the LiteRoc tripod has a more stable mount for the extendable tripod legs and larger clamping levers. The upper tripod legs have a diameter of 45mm (1.75") and the lower section has a diameter of 38mm (1.5"). This means that the extendable legs are just as strong as the legs of the earlier 2" tripod. The LiteRoc saves weight thanks to the narrower design of the upper area.
