The WAVE mounts from Skywatcher use a strain wave gearbox with high torque and a compact design. Therefore, they offer high precision and performance at an affordable price.

The gearbox design has several advantages, including minimal play and a compact design with a remarkable payload-to-weight ratio. This is ideal for mobile astrophotography.

The WAVE mounts from Sky-Watcher also feature EQ and AZ tracking modes with RA and DEC output positions, dual-fit mounting saddles for standard dovetail plates, a latitude range of 0–90º, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, an RA clutch function when the power is off, as well as a red-illuminated latitude display and bubble level to significantly simplify your setup routine.
